Area blood drive announced
Southeast Iowa Blood Center announces one upcoming area blood drive.
First United Methodist Church will sponsor a blood drive from 2-6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church?s downstairs dining room.
To schedule appointments, call Doris Eklund at 472-4303. Walk-in donors are welcome.
Eligible donors last gave blood before June 7.
Donors must be at least 16 years old, in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds. ...

Eligible donors last gave blood before June 7.
Donors must be at least 16 years old, in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds. Photo identification or blood donor card is required to donate; 16-year-old donors must present a signed parental consent form, available from blood center offices. Controlled high blood pressure and diabetics are acceptable.
