Pleasant Plain quarterly meeting Sunday evening
PLEASANT PLAIN ? Pleasant Plain Friends Church will host the Pleasant Plain quarterly meeting Sunday.
The business meeting begins at 5 p.m. A carry-in meal is set for 6 p.m., with a program beginning at 7 p.m.
Alan Mullikin, pastor of La Grand Friends Church, and his wife Sheryl will be providing the evening service.

OLLIE ? Prairie View United Methodist Church is planning a Sweetheart Dinner at 6 p.m. Sunday.
Women?s circle meeting Tuesday
The Maxine Bates Circle of First Baptist Church will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Margaret Stephens will be hostess.
Those attending should bring scissors.
Soup supper benefits Kids Against Hunger
First Chistian Church (Diciples of Christ) will host a soup supper from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Soups, Kenny?s Cornbread and pies will be served.
The freewill offering collected for the supper will benefit Kids Against Hunger.
The public is invited.
Knights of Columbus plans fish fry dinners
EAST PLEASANT PLAIN ? A Knights of Columbus fish fry is planned from 5:30-7 p.m. Feb. 22 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain.
The whole catfish dinner costs $9.50. An extra catfish is $5.
A grilled cheese dinner is $6.
In addition to the main entree, the dinner includes a baked potato, a side dish, dessert and a drink.
Proceeds will be used for high school senior scholarships.
The dinners also are planned for 5:30-7 p.m. today, March 1 and March 15 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield.
Tenderloin meal planned Feb. 22
First United Methodist Church in Fairfield will serve a tenderloin meal from 5:30-7 p.m. Feb. 22 at the church.
The menu will include tenderloins, baked beans, potato salad, dessert and beverage.
A freewill offering will be accepted for the meal.
The public is invited.
