Gamma Circle meeting set

The Gamma Circle of First Presbyterian Church will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church.

The United Methodist Men of First United Methodist Church will have a breakfast at 7 a.m. Sept. 7.

United Methodist kicks off Sunday school, youth group

First United Methodist Church will be kicking off its Sunday school program and youth group Sept. 8.

The Sunday school kickoff is set for 9 a.m. Attendees will have breakfast, play games and have a preview of the Sunday school ministry.

The youth group for middle school and high school students will meet at noon for lunch and conversations about faith.

First Lutheran worship at park

First Lutheran Church will have worship at 9 a.m. Sept. 8 at Jefferson County Park.

The service will be followed by a service project and a potluck meal.
