IOWA/WISCONSIN CHAPTER, SINGLES IN AGRICULTURE

The Iowa/Wisconsin Chapter of Singles in Agriculture will hold its annual meeting Friday-Sunday in Mount Pleasant.

Registration opens at 3 p.m. Friday at Best Western Mount Pleasant Inn.

The annual meeting will kick off at 5:30 p.m. Friday with a picnic at the log cabin in Saunders Park. After supper, there will be games and fellowship at the park, a tractor pull at the fairgrounds and a dance at the Moose Lodge in Burlington.

On Saturday, registration will reopen at 8 a.m. at Best Western. Members will carpool to the Lewelling House in Salem at 9:15 a.m., then stop off at the Phil and Sandy Speidel farm for lunch and a tour of their husky dog kennel. At 3 p.m., members will visit The Mogo Organics Farm, which is owned and operated by Morgan Hoenig. The group will wrap up the evening in Fairfield at the Southeast Iowa Singles dance, scheduled from 7:30-11 p.m. at the Eagles Club.

Singles in Agriculture is open to any single adult 18 years and older who has an agricultural background, is actively farming, or has an agriculture-related occupation.
