RETIRED SCHOOL PERSONNEL

The Jefferson County Retired School Personnel met for an Easter luncheon March 28.

Gregg Morton, chief deputy with the Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office, gave an informative program to the 22 members in attendance. Morton, a graduate of Fairfield High School, told of his personal background. At one time, he was a guard for President Ronald Reagan. He told of the many problems facing law enforcement today.

Lois Kremer conducted the meeting. Kathy Horn gave the treasurer?s report, and Jeanne Erickson presented the secretary?s report.

The next meeting of the Jefferson County Retired School Personnel will be held April 25 at the McElhinny House. Susan Phipps and Susan and Mark Shafer will serve as hostesses.
