Aristonico ?Rico? Rodriguez, 35, of Cedar Rapids, and formerly of Washington, died on Saturday, June 18, 2016, in Cedar Rapids.

Aristonico ?Rico? Rodriguez, 35, of Cedar Rapids, and formerly of Washington, died on Saturday, June 18, 2016, in Cedar Rapids.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m, on Sunday, June 26, at the Washington First Assembly of God, located at 1602 East Washington St., in Washington. Rev. Dave Watson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until time of the service. According to his wishes, his body has been cremated and inurnment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Assembly of God Church or to the family to help with funeral expenses. Elliott Chapel, of New London, is in charge of arrangements.
Rodriguez was born on June 8, 1981, in Whittier, Calif., the son of Aristonico Jose and Loretta Lynn Darby Rodriquez. He was a graduate of Washington High School.
He owned his own carpet laying business.
He enjoyed spending time with his two daughters, his family and all his children.
He attended the Marion Baptist Church, in Washington.
Rodriguez is survived by two daughters, SkyLynn Rodriquez, of Hedrick; and Valencia Rodriguez, of Coralville; his mother and stepfather, Loretta and David Rice, of Danville; one sister, Sarina Swinnen, of Danville; and two brothers, Steven Treanor, of Bakersfield, Calif.; and Brandon Marcella, of Hedrick.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wilbur Darby; his grandmother, Irene Shankle; and two brothers, Joseph and Bobby Rodriguez.
