Fairfield 1st Fridays Art Walk presents ?Youth Art: Supporting our Future in Creativity? from 6-9 p.m. Friday on and near the city square.
The event focuses on encouraging the creative endeavors of the community?s youth and is an opportunity to experience the talent and creativity of the kindergartners through high school seniors.
Fairfield Community School District?s elementary, middle and high schools, Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment and the Fairfield Home School Association are participating in the event, and the art walk organizers want to acknowledge the dedication of teachers who have encouraged and coaxed passion for the arts and a creative spirit from their students.
Fairfield Public Library, Carnegie Historical Museum, Fairfield Art Association and the Orpheum Theater will host the main events of the evening, including art exhibits, musical performances and more.
Businesses and local art galleries will be open with artwork on display.
