With Halloween just around the corner, everyone is buying pumpkins. Why not join a contest for an amazing prize? The library is hosting the Festival of the Pumpkins where you can decorate and/or paint a pumpkin and drop it off here at the library where we will put it on display. However, we will not accept a carved pumpkin, only painted/decorated. Everyone can vote for their favorite pumpkin once a day! Come show off your artistic skills!
Do you have any gently used winter clothes that don?t fit you anymore? Come donate them to Warm Up Washington! We will be accepting coats (new and lightly used), hats, mittens, and scarves throughout October. You can donate here at the library, the YMCA, and the office of Ann Williams. The donations will be available for handout in the Rebook room here at the library starting in November. Bring in your kids and let them browse for some nice winter clothes as the weather gets colder!
These are the new materials available at the library this week.
