At the Library

Finally, summer is here! We?ve had the warm weather, the schools are out and, at the library, we?re all geared up for the Summer Reading Club! But don?t be fooled that this is something just for kids ? adults can get in on the action too. Next weekend, on the 11th, Anna Dice will come and give a presentation on summer foods. She is a recent graduate of Iowa State University and just started her position as a food scientist at Sargento in Wisconsin. The following day, Sunday, June 12, we will host the monthly Year of Transformation session with the topic being focused around parenting and summer activities.

If you?re looking to get a little crafty, Deb Hanson will be teaching a Zentangle class. She is a local artist who has run programs before at the library, and some of her art is on display in our tween room. If you?ve never given this relaxing art form a try, come on out at 6:30 on the 28th. We will be holding adult coloring club on the 7th and 21st of June as well.

The library is the place to be this summer, and we have the calendar to prove it! With programs for everyone from babies to grandmas, we?re looking to make it the best Summer Reading Club yet!
