On Sept. 5, I went from Ms. Hanson to Mrs. Harris. I got to marry my best friend, surrounded by close family and friends. As Nathan and I were preparing for me to make the move to St. Louis I was so excited to start my new life with my husband. But, at the same time, sad to have to leave the town I love and my friends and family. I was dreading the day I would have to say goodbye to my coworkers, patrons, and the amazing kids I get to work with at the library. Nathan is an IT Specialist at Express Scripts in St. Louis, Missouri.
A week after the wedding Nathan was given the opportunity to work from home fulltime in Iowa! The Harrises are staying in Washington! I am thrilled to continue working at the library. My coworkers and the kids inspire me every day. I?m grateful that Nathan and I will be a part of this wonderful community. I am so excited for Nathan to get to experience the many reasons I love Washington.
