At the library
I?m leaving for college soon, so I?m going to tell you who I am. Most of you know me as ?the tall guy from the library? and that?s fine; it describes me very well. But, as with everyone, there?s more to the story.

I?m leaving for college soon, so I?m going to tell you who I am. Most of you know me as ?the tall guy from the library? and that?s fine; it describes me very well. But, as with everyone, there?s more to the story.
If all you know me by is work then you should know who I am outside the library too. Fall was where you would see marching-me. My first three years of marching band were on the bass drum but my last year I was Drum Major. Then overlapping the end of marching band was the beginning of the fall play. Here is the transition from marching-Kyle to acting-Kyle, and acting-Kyle is there to stay for a while. After the fall play is group speech and archery. This year in archery I was able to go to nationals and it was a blast. At the end of group speech is individual speech. They are completely different. Group is acting a story, but individual is getting your point across. That goes on up until the spring play. You can scan my calendar from the school year and just about every school day has an activity and my Saturdays were filled. It isn?t until after the spring play that I could go home after school. Then all the emphasis was preparing for college.
I?m going to Iowa State University to study engineering. I am all set to go there in a week. Even though Iowa State?s library may be beautiful I?ll still have a special place in my heart for Washington?s library. A big thank-you and goodbye to our regulars, workers, and once-in-a-whilers for the great times.
PS: If you need a good book to read, just find me before I leave or get ahold of me somehow.
