At the Library

Things have quieted down at the library since school has started. We?ve also noticed that the days are getting shorter as we lock up the library at night. Both signs that fall is drawing near, with a change of pace soon to be felt as we put our busy days of summer behind us, and get ready for the beautiful season we are about to enjoy.

As the weather gets cooler, and you begin to change your wardrobe in your closets, please remember the library. We will be sponsoring Warm Up Washington again this year, along with our friends at Farm Bureau Financial Services- Ann Williams office, and the Washington County Y. As part of our campaign, we are looking for new, or clean, gently used winter apparel for kids. Items needed would be coats, snow pants, boots, and gloves or mittens.

We are currently accepting, and storing donations before the campaign starts in October. All donations stay local. Many families benefited from the campaign last year, and we hope to be able to serve more this fall with your generosity.
