At the Library: Collecting winter apparel for those in need

Amidst all of our 10 year anniversary displays at the Washington Public Library, we have a large box in the foyer of the library that you may have noticed when you came through the front doors. The library is happy to work with Ann Williams at Farm Bureau Financial Services and the Washington County Y again this year to collect and distribute winter apparel to those in need within our county.

This local campaign has been successful in getting warm winter apparel to families in our area who are in need of assistance. This is our third year of sponsoring Warm Up Washington. We hope our community will be as generous with their donations as in the past.

Donations will be accepted at any of the three locations until Oct. 22 and distribution will take place at the library the first week of November.
