AT THE LIBRARY: Library offers options for cold, rainy days

October is here and fall is right around the corner. You may be thinking 'The weather is getting cooler, and outdoor opportunities are closing! What do I do?” Well, you're in luck, because the library has so many options for those cold, rainy fall days ahead!
Rainy days often give me mixed feelings. I usually am stuck between loving the nice relaxing weather granted upon us, where I can put on my comfy sweats, make a nice cup of coffee and visit with my family and dreading the dreary days stuck in the house. Sometimes consecutive rainy days are just a bummer and I just want to get out of the house!
The library is a great option for people like me. We offer interesting kid's books for those extra energetic children who are begging to get their hands on something (and a book is better than a handful of mud). Also offered at the library is a huge collection of amazing series books that you seem to get glued to for hours at a time; and for those of you who are bakers, fall weather calls for candy, pies, pastries, and all sorts of pumpkin treats, so why not pop in and check out a fall cookbook!
As the leaves are changing, so does the weather, so be prepared to put on your scarves, sweaters, and fluffy hats, and visit us at the library; we can't wait to see your smiling faces!
