AT THE LIBRARY: Washington’s library is more than a place to read

Hi, my name is Emily. I am a library page at the Washington Public Library, and I've been here for a little over a year.
The library is a great place to be and I'm not just saying that because I work here. Before I got hired or was even looking for a job I'd come into the library all the time. It's a great place to study especially now that school has started. he library isn't just for reading, you can do other things too. Study rooms are great for homework. Sometimes when you're at home doing work you have tons of distractions so being at the library helps to keep you on track.
We also have big comfortable chairs that are perfect for anything. Sometimes I like to just relax there and watch a show on my phone. Reading books in those chairs are also great. There's something about a big chair and a good book that's just the perfect combination.
Make sure you stop by to enjoy a book, do work, or just to hang out!
