Author to give talk at Fairfield library Thursday

The Fairfield Public Library will host a live-streamed talk at 7 p.m. Thursday featuring author Greta Nettleton.

Nettleton, of Palisades, New York, is writing a book titled 'The Charmed Line” about Dr. Mrs. Rebecca J. Keck, local Fairfield doctor and herbalist, and the origins of alternative medical care in 19th-century America. Nettleton is visiting Fairfield to record an interview with Dick DeAngelis for the fourth film in the Fairfield History series, 'Ahead of Their Time.”
