Freshman Avante Henley (right) was recently one of the students awarded the Mt. Pleasant Community High School (MPCHS) Student of Character Award for the month of October. Presenting the award at the Evening Rotary Club meeting were Rotarian Sara Le Blanc (left) and MPCHS Principal Todd Leichty (center). Henley was presented with a certificate and a children?s book donated in his name to the public library. The MPCHS Student of Character program is co-sponsored by the Mt. Pleasant Evening Rotary and all students awarded are selected based on MPCHS staff nominations.
