Babysitting Basics Training Course will be offered to help youth learn how to be responsible babysitters. Topics to be covered include employer expectations, caring for infants and young children, age-appropriate toys and activities, safety, emergency and first aid procedures.
The program is for any youth ?boys and girls ? who have completed fifth grade and above. The five-day course will be held Aug.1-5 from 9:30 ? 11:30 a.m. There is a fee for the course. Interested youth are encouraged to register as soon as possible, as each class is limited to 25 students.
