Baird celebrating birthday

Nancy Baird of Fairfield will celebrate her 80th birthday with an open house from 1-3 p.m. June 23 at St. Mary Catholic Church Parish Hall.

Mrs. Baird?s children and grandchildren are hosting the open house. She has three daughters: Susan Hedlund of Duluth, Minn.; Kathy Ness and husband Larry of Cedar Rapids; Chris Countryman and husband Steve of Libertyville; and one son, Brian Baird and wife Lorrie of Washington, Mo. She also has 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Baird was born in Fairfield. She retired from First National Bank in Fairfield in 1996.
