Balance class begins March 27 at Great River Health System

WEST BURLINGTON ? A nationally recognized program that helps older adults reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels begins Tuesday, March 27.
Classes in the eight-week session will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at Great River Health System-Health Fitness, 1401 W. Agency Rd., West Burlington.
Participants learn to view falls as controllable, set goals for increasing activity, make changes to reduce fall risks at home and exercise to increase strength and balance.
There is a program fee for Health Fitness members and non-members. It includes classes, educational materials and snacks.
