Band Aides?s garbage bag fund-raising sales beginning
The Fairfield Band Aides will start a calling campaign Monday for its twice-yearly garbage bag sales fund raiser.
The funds raised in the campaign help support the instrumental music program in the Fairfield Community School District by purchasing instruments and a new band trailer, paying repair bills and clinicians and contributing to a new uniform fund.

Callers will be from Charity Services of Cedar Rapids. The Band Aides have partnered with Charity Services for the past eight years.
