Band showcase set Friday
A Marching Band Showcase featuring the Fairfield High School and middle school marching bands is scheduled at 7 p.m. Friday at Trojan Stadium.

A Marching Band Showcase featuring the Fairfield High School and middle school marching bands is scheduled at 7 p.m. Friday at Trojan Stadium.
Music and marching developed during summer rehearsals will be on display. The event is free.
The middle school marching band is under the direction of Mary Andersen and comprised of 100 students in seventh and eighth grade. The high school band is under the direction of Jim Edgeton and Aaron Adam and features 135 students in ninth through 12th grade.
In case of inclement weather, the showcase will be held in the gym.
The event is sponsored by Fairfield Band Aides, a nonprofit organization supporting instrumental music programs in the Fairfield Community School District. Individuals and families can renew their annual Band Aides memberships at the showcase.
