Join Jefferson County Farm Bureau and other local businesses for an evening dedicated to agriculture at Barnyard Bash. This family-friendly event will be held at the Maasdam Barns, located at 2000 S Main St, Fairfield, IA 52556, on Friday, Sept. 19, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Explore the historic Maasdam Barns, enjoy a wide range of activities, and savor delicious food. The event will feature booths from local agricultural businesses and interactive experiences! Highlights include a bounce house, a tractor-cade, barrel train rides, antique tractor displays, and engaging demonstrations.
Additionally, enjoy giant bubble-making, rope-making, corn shelling, and the chance to put hay up with a horse. Food and refreshing lemonade shake-ups will be available for purchase.
Convenient parking is located at the Jefferson County Health Center parking lot, with a shuttle service provided to transport attendees directly to the barns.
Visit the Jefferson County Farm Bureau booth to milk a faux dairy cow, see a combine and sprayer, and test your agriculture knowledge for a chance to win a prize! Both children and adults are welcome, there will be something for everyone. We look forward to seeing you on September 19.
