Basil Faith Parish has retreat, fall supper this month

Basil Faith Parish churches? weekly schedules: Libertyville, Sunday worship 8:15 a.m. and Sunday school 9:30 a.m.; Birmingham, worship 9:45 a.m., choir practice after worship, Sunday school, 10:45 a.m.; Stockport, Sunday worship 11 a.m. and choir practice Wednesday night.

Confirmation will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at Keosauqua United Methodist Church.

B.A.T.T.L.E. is 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Stockport.

The third annual women?s scrap booking retreat is 5:30 p.m. Friday to noon Oct. 20, at the Heartland Christian Camp in Birmingham. Cost is $25, which includes food, lodging and scrap booking supplies. Register by calling Barb Giberson at 319-796-4382.

Small Church Initiative meets at 1 p.m. Oct. 21, beginning with a potluck at Milton United Methodist Church. Attendees are to read chapters 4-8 and bring homework.
