Basket-making class Sunday
A basket-making class for beginners is set from 12:30-5 p.m. Sunday at the Jefferson County Park Nature Center.
Participants will make a melon basket.
Jefferson County Naturalist Therese Cummiskey said the basket is made with 8-inch hoops and is a great project for the first-time basket maker.
The fee is $15.
