BATAVIA ? Batavia United Methodist Church is hosting its Lord?s Acre Sale and supper Nov. 5. Serving begins at 5 p.m.
A free will offering will be accepted for the meal, which includes chili, vegetable beef soup, salad, pie or cake.
Ed Bruegge?s Country Band will provide music, also beginning at 5 p.m.
An auction of crafts and homemade baked items begins at 7 p.m. Rick Spees is auctioneer.
Supper, auction in Douds Nov. 5
DOUDS ? Christ United Methodist Church in Douds is holding its 60th Annual God?s Portion Supper and Sale Nov. 5 at the church fellowship hall. The public is welcome to attend.
The free will offering supper starts at 5 p.m. with a full home cooked meal, and a variety of homemade pies and cakes.
An auction of baked goods, handcrafted, Christmas, and various other items conducted by auctioneers Ron Sprouse and Col. Mike Goering starts at 6:30 p.m.
