Be our guests Christmas Day

It is Christmastime again, and the Washington Church of God will once again be hosting their annual Christmas dinner on Sunday, Dec. 25, Christmas Day. They will be serving ham and turkey with all the trimmings. This is one of the ways that we celebrate Christmas and share the love of God and our love with each other. We will begin serving at noon and will go to 2 p.m. We invite you to come and be our guests on this special day. There is no charge; the meal is on us.

We have this special dinner on Christmas Day so that no one has to spend Christmas alone or go without a good Christmas meal. We also will have carryout meals for those who can?t make it out but would like a good Christmas dinner. We would appreciate you making reservations for this, and you can make reservations by calling one of these numbers: 319-653-5678; 319-653-2946; or 319-694-5420. If no one answers, leave your name and telephone number and how many there are of you, and we will try to contact you and confirm you reservation. If you don?t get your reservation in or forget to make one, come and join us anyway.

We will be celebrating one of the greatest events in the history of mankind, and that is when God sent His only begotten Son into the world out of His love for us. John 3:16 says, ?For God so loved that He gave His only begotten Son what whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.? Come and be our guests!
