Beachy receives perfect score

Emma Beachy, a senior at Iowa Mennonite School, recently scored a perfect 36 on the June testing of the ACT. Emma has been involved in many school activities in addition to excelling as a student at IMS.

Emma?s talents have been cultivated and on display in 4-H, piano, band, drama and choir. She has served on the school?s Chapel Committee, in Compassion Club, student government, and on the staff of the Reflector, the school newspaper. Emma has excelled in track, competing in the discus event at the State Track and Field meet. Emma has also reached out as a tutor for other students and recently preached her first sermon at West Union Mennonite Church. Emma is the daughter of Wanda and David Beachy of Kalona, and attends Kalona Mennonite Church.
