Benefit to help Cox family
Family and friends of Fran and Reg Cox are organizing a dinner, silent auction and live musical entertainment from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday at Foursquare Gospel Church to help the couple with their medical expenses.
The menu will include spaghetti with either meat or no-meat sauce, side salad, garlic bread and dessert bars or cookies. Dine in and carry out are available for a freewill offering.

Family and friends of Fran and Reg Cox are organizing a dinner, silent auction and live musical entertainment from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday at Foursquare Gospel Church to help the couple with their medical expenses.
The menu will include spaghetti with either meat or no-meat sauce, side salad, garlic bread and dessert bars or cookies. Dine in and carry out are available for a freewill offering.
The silent auction will have ?something for everyone.? The auction will close at 7:30 p.m., and winners will be announced. To donate to the auction, call Jane Scott at 919-7663.
Live music will be presented by the Coxes?s son, Scott Cox and Friends.
Fran Cox has had surgery and numerous stays at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, and more are ahead for her.
Reg Cox was recently diagnosed with stage-1 prostate cancer and will be undergoing treatments soon.
The benefit is to help them defray some of the out-of-pocket medical and travel expenses.
