Bird club for kids starting Saturday
The Jefferson County Conservation Board along with Southeast Iowa Audubon and www.birdwatching.com is sponsoring a bird club for kids.
The Jefferson County Young Birders will have its first get together at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Jefferson County Park Nature Center.
All bird lovers ages 8 to 18 are invited to attend. Children 11 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Jefferson County Naturalist Therese Cummiskey and Diane Porter of birdwatching.com are planning a variety of field trips and other birding events this winter and spring.
