Gerald and Rosemary Pacha of Brighton visited their son, Jeff Pacha, of Wichita, Kansas. They left Oct. 2 and returned home on Oct. 4.

They attended their grandson's football game, cross-country meet and baseball game. They also attended one grandson's homecoming game.

Trick Or Treating hours in Brighton are Oct. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Jeremy Hollingsworth of Packwood held a hayride on Oct. 3. It was held at his grandmother's home, Winifred Fritz, in Brighton. Lots of friends and relatives were present.

Winifred Fritz was the guest of honor at on open house held Oct. 4 at the St. Joseph Church in East Pleasant Plain to celebrate her 85th birthday.

Winifred received a lot of cards and phone calls from friends and relatives who couldn't attend.

Winifred's daughter, Rita Berry returned home to Bates City, Missouri on Oct. 5. She'd been visiting her mother and other relatives all week.
