The Presbyterian Ladies will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church. The roll-call response will be a Bible verse about ?cup.? Mel Stockwell will be hostess. She also will have devotions and the program.

The tractor pull, which is part of Birmingham Homecoming, will be held June 26. Birmingham Homecoming is Friday through Sunday.

Gayle Hervey, the food service director of Van Buren Community School District, will be providing the summer lunch program for all 3- to 18-year-old youth in Birmingham, Milton, Stockport, Keosauqua, Cantril and Douds.

The free lunch will be served on a first-come, first-served basis Monday through July 29. In Birmingham, the lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to noon in the City Park shelter.

Adults can eat with their child for a fee.
