Gayle Hervey, the food service director of Van Buren Community School District, will be providing the summer lunch program for all 3- to 18-year-old youth in Birmingham, Milton, Stockport, Keosauqua, Cantril and Douds.
The free lunch will be served on a first-come, first-served basis Monday through July 29. In Birmingham, the lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to noon in the City Park shelter.
Adults can eat with their child for a fee.
