A group of 72 children attended the Easter egg hunt Saturday in Birmingham City Park. Each child hunted for eggs and got a prize when their name was drawn. The 8- to 12-year-old age group hunted for silver eggs. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny were there. Merchants and others donated to the event.

A good-sized crowd attended the Birmingham Lions Club waffle and pancake supper Saturday night.
