The Birmingham Homecoming Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Birmingham Lions building. Plans will be finalized for the fish and chicken fries to be held in March. Other items to be discussed will be Homecoming that is to be held June 2-4.

The Presbyterian Women will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Jo Ann Denniston will be hostess and also giving devotions and the program.

From 5-7 p.m. Feb. 11, the Birmingham Fire Department will hold a soup supper and benefit auction for the Kennedy family to help with medical bills and travel.The auction will start at 6 p.m. A Benelli Nova 20 gage shotgun will be raffled off. The drawing will be held that night. You must be 18 and have proper paperwork to win the gun. Anyone wanting to help or donate can call 919-1229, 919-1218 or 919-8561.
