The Birmingham Library will start its winter hours Tuesday.

The library will be open from 1-5 p.m. Wednesdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. It will be closed on Monday nights.

A special meeting to judge the peace posters made by school students will be at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Birmingham Lions Building.

Beverly Rogers will provide special music at the Birmingham United Methodist Church Sunday.

Cake will be served after the worship service for everyone who had birthdays in October.

The Rebekah Circle will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Birmingham United Methodist Church.

Ann Boley will be the hostess.

Plans will be made for the fall supper set for Nov. 12.
