The annual meeting of the Villages of Van Buren will be Tuesday at the Birmingham United Methodist Church.
The Rebekah Circle will serve the meal at 6:15 p.m.

A blood drive is set from 2:30-6:30 p.m. March 29 at the Birmingham Lions Building.
Walk-in donors are welcome, but those who would like appointments can call Harry Anderson at 319-498-4201.

The Birmingham firemen will have a fish and chicken dinner from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the fire station. Proceeds will help pay for a new fire truck.

STOCKPORT
An Old-Tyme music jam is set from 1:30-4 p.m. Sunday at the Stockport Senior Center on Main Street.
The public is invited to bring instruments and play acoustical music or just come and enjoy the fellowship and music.
A free-will offering will be taken to help defray the cost of the building use.

New DVDs at the Stockport Library include four ?Bob the Builder? movies, ?Speed 2,? ?Coyote Ugly? and ?Deja?Vu.?
The library is open from 3-6 p.m. Monday and Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday.
The library offers free access to the Internet, copying and faxing services, It also can get get books from other libraries for patrons.
