The Birmingham Lions Club will meet for a carry-in supper at 7 p.m. Monday at the Lions building. The March committee is Ann Boley and Carroll Unkrich.

The Lions will have a tenderloin supper from 5-7 p.m. March 17.

Stockport Public Library held Dr. Seuss Day Monday. The afternoon was busy with Librarian Beverly Runyon reading ?Green Eggs and Ham? and ?The Lorax? to children, making ?Cat in the Hat? hats and snacking on ?Truffula Trees.? Cordero Ontiveros of Stockport won the drawing for ?The Lorax? movie on DVD. Children went home with goodie bags.
