Blank Park Zoo animal ambassadors to visit Fairfield Wednesday
Jul. 26, 2021 5:06 pm
Join Fairfield Public Library and the Fairfield Parks & Recreation for a visit by Blank Park Zoo's Animal Ambassadors Wednesday, July 28.
Children and their families will have the opportunity to see animals from around the world up-close and learn about their habitats, diet, life-cycles and more. This event will be held outdoors in Chautauqua Park Shelter No. 3 in two sessions, one from 3-4 p.m. and the second from 5-6 p.m.
This event is free and open to the general public. The Reading Colors Your World summer reading program is made possible in part by contributions by Alliant Energy, Walmart, and Iowa State Bank.
Contact Fairfield Youth Services Librarian Alecs Mickunas for more information at alecsm@fairfield.lib.ia.us or call the front desk at 641-472-6551 Ext. 2.
