Blommes celebrating 50th wedding anniversary
Leo and Helen Blomme of Batavia will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1-4 p.m. March 30 at the Batavia Senior Citizen Community Center.
Helen Teninty and Leo Blomme were married April 4, 1964, at St. Mary of the Visitation Church in Ottumwa.

Leo and Helen Blomme of Batavia will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1-4 p.m. March 30 at the Batavia Senior Citizen Community Center.
Helen Teninty and Leo Blomme were married April 4, 1964, at St. Mary of the Visitation Church in Ottumwa.
The couple has five children: Keeta Terrell of Fairfield, Julie Richards of Pella, Martin Blomme of Stockport, Michael Blomme of Newton and Nicholas Blomme of Fairfield. They also have 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
