Blood center holding two area blood drives
The Birmingham Lions Club will host a Mississippi Regional Blood Center blood drive from 2:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lions Club building.
Walk-in donors are welcome; for appointments, call Harry Anderson at 319-498-4201.
Donors who last gave blood on or before July 19 are eligible to participate again Thursday.
A blood drive is set from 2-6:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield.
