Blood drive announced
Southeast Iowa Blood Center has announced one upcoming area blood drive.
A Jefferson County blood drive is scheduled from 2:30-7:30 p.m. Aug. 31 at Jefferson County Fairgrounds Activity Center.
To schedule optional appointments, call (800) 452-1097.
Donors eligible for the drive last gave blood before July 6.
Donors must be at least 16 years old, in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds. Photo ...

Donors eligible for the drive last gave blood before July 6.
Donors must be at least 16 years old, in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds. Photo identification or blood donor card is required to donate; 16-year-old donors must present a signed parental consent form, available from blood center offices. Controlled high blood pressure and diabetics are acceptable.
