Blood drive Oct. 31 in Mt. Pleasant

A Henry County Afternoon community blood drive will be 2-6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31, at the E3 Center's meeting room in Mt. Pleasant.

Donors who last gave blood on or before Sept. 5 are eligible to give.

Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age. A 16-year-old, with a parental permission form, available through www.bloodcenter.org, can donate. Donors must weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. is required. Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure can be accepted as eligible donors. For information, call the Blood Center at 800-747-5401.
