Blood drive Sept. 24
A Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center blood drive is set from 3-6:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Activity Building.
Donors who last gave on or before July 30 can give again. Walk-in donors are welcome; for appointments, call 800-452-1097.
Donors must be at least 17 years of age ? or 16 with a signed parental permission form available at www.bloodcenter.org ? and weigh more than 110 ...

Donors must be at least 17 years of age ? or 16 with a signed parental permission form available at www.bloodcenter.org ? and weigh more than 110 pounds. A person with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure can donate. A photo identification or Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center donor card is required.
The mobile crew collected 28 pints of blood Sept. 4 at the Activity Building.
