Blood drive set Friday

Jefferson County AM will host a Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center community blood drive from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Jefferson County Health Center.
The blood drive will be held in the health center's conference room near the McCreery Cancer Center entrance door on the east side of the facility.

Jefferson County AM will host a Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center community blood drive from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Jefferson County Health Center.
The blood drive will be held in the health center?s conference room near the McCreery Cancer Center entrance door on the east side of the facility.
Donors who last gave blood on or before July 6 are eligible to give at this drive.
For appointments to donate, contact the blood center at 800-452-1097 or visit www.bloodcenterimpact.org and use code 5031 to locate the drive.
Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age, although a 16-year-old can donate with a parental permission form that is available through www.bloodcenter.org. Donors must weigh more than 110 pounds. Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure can be accepted as eligible donors. A photo I.D. is required to donate.
