First United Methodist Church will host a community blood drive from 2-6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 29 in the church dining room.

Donors who last gave blood on or before June 3 are eligible to give at this drive.
Richland Community
RICHLAND -- The Richland community will host a blood drive from 2-6:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 26 at the Mother Cabrini Parish Center.

Donors who last gave blood on or before July 1 are eligible to give at this drive.
Donor information
Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age, although a 16 year-old can donate with parental permission. A parental permission form is available through www.bloodcenter.org.
A donor must weigh more than 110 pounds.
A photo I.D. is required to donate.
Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure can be accepted as eligible donors.

Blood donation is a safe, simple procedure that takes about 45 minutes to one hour.
Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is the provider of blood and blood components to more than 100 hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. In this area, MVRBC is the exclusive provider to Jefferson County Health Center and Keokuk County Health Center.
