Jefferson County PM will host a community blood drive from 2-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Cambridge Learning Center on the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.
For appointments to donate, contact the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center at 800-452-1097 or visit www.bloodcenterimpact.org and use code 5032 to locate the drive.
Donors who last gave blood on or before July 16 are eligible to give at this drive.
Van Buren County
Van Buren County will host a community blood drive from 3:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Keosauqua Senior Center.

Donors who last gave blood on or before July 17 are eligible to give at this drive.
First United Methodist Church
First United Methodist Church in Fairfield will host a community blood drive from 2-6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, in the church dining room.

Donors who last gave blood on or before July 29 are eligible to give at this drive.
Information
Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age, although a 16-year-old can donate with parental permission; a form is available through www.bloodcenter.org. Donors must weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. is required. Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure can be accepted as eligible donors. For information about eligibility, call the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center at 800-747-5401.
Blood donation is a safe, simple procedure that takes about 45 minutes to one hour.
Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is the provider of blood and blood components to more than 100 hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. It is the exclusive provider to Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield and Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.
