Body Transformation Challenge begins Tuesday

A 10-week Jefferson County Body Transformation challenge is being held by Fairfield Nutrition and Fairfield Park and Recreation Department.

The goal of the challenge is to motivate participants to get fit.

The entry fee is $20, which includes a $5 benefit for the pool and gym project.

The contest is divided into five categories: Total body weight percentage lost; total body fat percentage lost; best overall male before/after; best overall female before/after; best 40-and-over before/after. Each category has three winners. A grand champion also will be named. Hundreds of dollars in prize money will be awarded.
