Master bow maker Gene Winter of Waterloo will give a two-day workshop 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 3-4 at Jefferson County Park. Because of the time involved in making a selfbow and the one-on-one instruction required, the program is limited to six participants age 18 or older. To reserve a spot, call 472-4421 or email therese@jeffersoncountyconservation.com. The $230 fee provides the osage orange and everything a student will need.
