Bows and Bullets 4-H Club held the installation of officers at their January 4-H meeting. County Council president Maddie Hora led the ceremony. The officers elected for the 2014 4-H year include: president - Derek Stender, vice president - Noah Altenhofen, secretary - Kyle Basten, treasurer - Reid Basten, historian and publicity - Cody Mellinger, and photographer - Amanda Pfeifer. Officers help lead club meetings with parliamentary procedure and take care of other monthly duties regarding communication and organization.
?It is an honor to be elected as a club officer because it shows your club trusts and respects you in that leadership position for an entire year,? explained Amy Green, 4-H Youth Coordinator. ?Providing leadership opportunities and teaching those skills is a main priority of 4-H.?
