Brett Pierson named Young Title Person of the Year

The Iowa Land Title Association (ILTA) convention was held June 13-15, 2022 at Honey Creek Resort, Rathbun Lake, near Moravia, Iowa. At this year’s convention, Brett Pierson, Manager of Washington Title & Guaranty Company in Washington and Keokuk Counties, received the 2022 ILTA Young Title Person of the Year Award, which recognizes an outstanding title professional with less than a decade of title industry experience. Nominated by their peers, award recipients represent the best among young abstractors who are making significant contributions to the title industry.

Pierson came to work for Washington Title & Guaranty Company in 2018. He is diligent, articulate, thorough, tech savvy, innovative, systematic, organized, forward-thinking. Pierson has a great relationship with his customers and provides outstanding service.

In addition to his talents as abstractor and manager, Pierson contributes to the community through Rotary and Washington Community Theater. He also works part-time as speech coach and drama director for Washington High School.
